Before updating to the latest iOS 13.5 & 13.5.1 as told on your post what was your earlier iOS version. Then you can look into the iOS changes that has happened between the earlier version on your iPhone and this new version that you have updated now.
This will give you a broader idea of the issue, if it is directly linked to the iOS version or is triggered by something else.

Thanks but that's not helpful. Updates do not give any meaningful technical detail, I'm not looking to debug Apple's product release and, anyway, they never deliberately include any update designed to cause your device to restart randomly.
I'd be grateful if you would stop responding to this post.
Have the same issue happened to my last iPhone X. The phone actually would not come back on. And the starting issue started once i updated the iOS software.
i bought an iPhone 11 Pro two days ago and updated it to the latest software and the same restarting issue is happening.
Now found that Photos on iPhone no longer syncs properly with iCloud and my car now informs me that I need an Internet connection before playing music that I own and is physically loaded on the phone - that's new too.
Looks like 13.5 / 13.5.1 release needs some serious remedial work by Apple
On a hunch I uninstalled Norton security on my iPhone (a recent addition but before the 13.5 upgrade). Since then my phone has stopped restarting!

Thanks but the OS is up to date and, as stated, the battery is fine. This help did not solve the problem.
I'd like to know if anyone else is having this issue.
Mine also can't be restarted once it has shut down. It does restart itself after several minutes. I have done a complete factory reset and restore. Still the same.
I think it’s something they have to look at and fix. Something is wrong with the last software update.
Removing Norton security also cured the issue relating to playing music in the car and the Photos sync issue!
All is well again.
