Why won't my copied Mac music cds sync to my iPhone?

I was able to fix this myself. I checked the import settings and changed them from ACC iTunes plus to Apple Lossless then erased and recopied the CD then synced in the finder. I don't know why that worked but it did.

Doesn't match my issue. Gif is too fast and concerns MP3s not a CD. In the past this would sync without any problems to my iPod or iPhone.
Is this music that you purchased in the iTunes Store, music downloaded from Apple Music or what?
