Please help

I have the IPhone 8 and I can’t figure out how to shut off the feature “silence when phone is locked”. Please help🥺

Try Settings - Do Not Disturb; go to the section marked Silence: and check the setting for "While iPhone is Locked". If it's checked, clear it
