Can IMac 2020 be used as an external monitor?

Hello,

My self-research led me to realize that IMac mode before 2015 can be used as an external monitor, and unfortunately mine is late 2015. I had to purchase an external monitor to work from home sitting next to me 21.5” IMac.

I have not seen any post about the new iMac 2020. Can it be used as an external monitor? My company desktop is a windows based Dell one. If it can be used as an external monitor, I may trade in my old iMac and purchase the 2020 version.

Please advise! Thank you!

No iMac newer than 2014 can be used as a monitor.
