Apple watch 5

Hello I recently purchased an apple watch 5 40 mm during the covid 19 pandemic.

Since I was not able to visit an Apple store to see the difference between the 40mm and the 44mm I chose the smaller. But now that I physically viewed the 44mm I would like to know if I can exchange it for the bigger version.
