What percentage does it stop on? If it’s 80% that’s normal, because the phone will stop at 80% for a while for the battery to cool off, then continue at a slower rate. This most commonly happens if you are fast charging it with a USB-C power source. You can also check the setting for Optimized Charging, which is intended to be used when charging overnight. It will stop at 80%, then continue so the phone reaches 100% around the time you first start using it in the morning. If you do not charge overnight you should turn Optimized Charging off. However, you should be charging overnight, because if you enable iCloud backups it will back up your phone every night also.
