Support files for Kindle for Mac app

I'm trying to clean up after Kindle for Mac app for a clean reinstall of this app.

It is still saving some file that finder can't see even though I have it set to show hidden files/folders, because after deleting the app and reinstalling, even with internet access temporarily disabled, it offers some book and garbled book titles, proving something was left behind.

Amazon support are saying Apple should support this, and of course this is bollocks (it's their app, they should know exactly what it puts where), but in case someone else has found their support equally lame and has another source for a list of all of the support files, I'll ask here.

Does anyone know what files Kindle for Mac puts where..... the stuff in application support and caches and user profiles and preference list stuff ?

Amazon does not provide an uninstaller, and launchpad uninstall does not eliminate the zombie data.
