group messages on iPad Air

I have a iPad Air and just realized I'm not receiving group messages! I'm getting single messages but not the group ones. Help!

My iPad has just started splitting up group messages I've always been able to send group messages on my iPad. All of a sudden it is not keeping them grouped. I send the group message to all iPhones and then it is sent out to them individually and then returned to me individually. Why and how is this happening? I've been looking online and it says to go to settings and MMS messaging but that I can't see anywhere in settings. Help! iPad is all up to date with updates. iPad Pro.

Group messages on iPad stopped working if one member of the group does not use an iPhone. I have a few group texts where one of the members doesn’t use an iPhone. This has not been a problem up until today. My iPhone and iMac continue to be synced with messages, group messages but on my iPad it is sending the message to the individual or not sending it at all if I try on the iPad. At the top of the screen on the iPad, rather than showing the initials of some members and indicating group size, it says “Outgoing”. I’ve not seen this before. I am on the latest IOS update. IPadPro 2nd generation. Thank you
