Sim not valid for iPhone 6

My son’s iPhone 6 64gb is working good even though it was Bought 2nd hand for almost 2yrs. Until I reset the phone to do the deletion of my files quickly aside from the Mano Mano way. It was successfully reset but whenever SIM card is inserted it says ‘ sim not valid”
