i can't open file video on Quicktime player

i'm download file video but can't open on Qucktime player

MacBook Air 13″, OS X 10.10

Some videos can't be played in QuickTime Player.

- some videos use a codec that is not/no longer supported by QuickTime.

- some videos use a codec that requires a newer version macOS and QuickTime (H.265 HEVC).


You may like VLC Media Player, as a player that will open nearly everything.
