How to update apps in children’s account below 13 yrs (family sharing)?

how do I update apps in childs account.? my daughter keep on asking how to update? and each time we have to enter appleid/password, where infact she already signed in? but the alert always says incorrect apple id/password??

Apple ID Switch When I got my son his phone 2 years ago, I used my Apple ID, recently he got his own Apple ID and after a few days when he tried to update an app on his phone it asked him to enter the Apple ID password for the old account, but didn’t accept it. Family Sharing Please help! I have seen this question asked many times with no resolution. Every time my child updates his apps or purchases a new app it asks him to put in is Apple ID password before it asks me for permission to buy to app. Why is this? I know it should not function this way (my other childrens phones work correctly) but how to I fix this??

Changing Store AppleID login, Family Sharing, & app updates mess 🤪 Before Family Plans were a thing, my child had my old iPhone and I had downloaded apps for them under my AppleID to it. Fast forward to the future where I have an Apple family plan that shares my purchases with my child who is older now and has their own Apple ID. They have signed into the App Store and can download without issues. For apps installed under my Apple ID back in the day, they still need my password to update them. All previously downloaded apps won't update without my Apple password since they were originally installed with my Apple ID when they were younger & Family Plans weren't available. Is there any way to fix this issue without deleting the apps, losing all the data associated with them, and reinstalling them? There's a lot of history in some of those games and apps that will be lost with a deletion. Note, I have my other kids in this situation as well. I'm trying to get ahead of it for them. Thanks!

Have you tried signing out of the App Store/iTunes, restarting the device, and then signing back in? Are the purchases that are asking for a different ID/password, purchases made by other family member.
