i pad will not turn on - screen is black-

My i pad will not turn on. The screen remains black even after going through the forced power on switch and home button process. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Make sure you have done all the steps in this article:

If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't turn on or is frozen - Apple Support

If that does not help your iPad might need service:

Contact Apple for support and service - Apple Support
