Text acting up

I needed to use the French keyboard for a project so I added it onto my keyboard but after I switched to English, the red lines (even though I was typing in English) still appeared and when I right clicked on them, they showed French suggestions (I'm using Microsoft Word). Even after I deleted French from my keyboard and language and region, the same thing still happened. I'm not really sure what to do and it really stops me from doing my work properly. Please help?
