iCloud storage payment method update

I have a message about updating my iCloud storage payment. I had a credit card change but it won’t let me change the card number. I tried making my Apple Card as default but it still does not show I updated the payment method.

Try -- Change, add, or remove Apple ID payment methods - Apple Support.
