how to get apple tv+ on apple tv

i have an old apple tv box connected to a (non smart) samsung. The main menu (homescreen) shows alot of apps but not apple tv+ and i dont see any way to add an app. can you help?

The 1st and 2nd generation Apple TV don't support Apple TV+. See compatible devices in Devices you can use with the Apple TV app and Apple TV+ - Apple Support
