What should I do to resolve this problem?

I haven’t updated my iPhone and IPad almost for 32 weeks. What should I do about it?

iPhone 6s, iOS 11

I tried several times to update, but it doesn’t respond well as I need it, but I’m not sure what should I do at this point? I followed the instructions, and never successfully completed it.

"doesn't respond well" is far to vague for anyone to be able to address the issue.
