I dont have an iphone anymore, and i want to sell my apple watch. But i heared about an icloud lock if you reset your apple watch in the settings of the apple watch, what should i do?

Thank you, but i dont have a new or old iphone, i switched to android, so what do i do now?
-should i pair it with the iphone of my sister so, and unpair it in the app, will that unlock the icloud-lock?
