Let's say I pay for new machine with card A, but I want the rebate to card B. Is this possible, or will the trade-in rebate automatically be put on card A?

Credits need to be applied to the card that was used for charges. If a merchant were to do otherwise, it would be a violation of their credit card agreement with American Express, Discover, MasterCard or VISA.
