Does the Apple Music subscription allow you to sync onto late 2009 iPod Classic?

Hey y'all!

Call me old fashioned, but I still love listening to music on my iPod Classic from late 2009. I'm considering going for an Apple Music subscription, and I wanted to know if you guys had any success in syncing music from Apple Music onto an older iPod?
