My iTunes are no longer syncing across devices. I’ve updated both to same iOS. They are saying I need to subscribe to Apple Music or iTunes Match ($30 yr) in order to sync. I don’t think this is fair. I paid for these songs. They should since.

You can sync your devices with iTunes (or Music in Catalina) without a subscription to either Apple Music or iTunes Match. Both optional services make it easier to keep multiple devices and libraries in sync automatically over the air, but are by no means required.

Can you please give instructions on “how” to do it? I realize that the optional services make it easier. But, they are both costly. I already paid for the song. Never had to pay further to have my songs synced. This is not a fair policy. Will need to think further on buying App,e products in the future.
