Apple TV problem

Hello, I am having problems with my Apple TV device I have tried turning it on but all I receive is a blinking light is there any way to troubleshoot this issue or do I have to contact an expert?

If your Apple TV doesn't turn on - Apple Support

If you have an Apple TV 4K

If you see a warning symbol while trying to update the software on your Apple TV, or see a black screen on your TV and flashing indicator light on the front of your Apple TV, contact Apple Support.
