Ever since updating to iOS 14 on my iPhone SE 2, Search no longer solves mathematical equations or measurement conversions. I access the Search field by swiping down from the Home screen.
Usually the answer to my query would show up in Spotlight. Now all I get is a separate offer to search on Safari.

SOLVED:
1.) Go to Settings > Siri & Search
2.) Scroll down the app list and select "Calculator"
3.) Turn on "Show Content in Search"
Somehow that setting got turned off when I updated to IOS14.

Have you tried restarting your device? My iPhone X on iOS 14 is still working with mathematical equations in search.
