Kindle iOS app

After opening a book in the kindle app on my iPad, I can’t make the menu reappear. Tapping at the top of the screen doesn’t do anything unless I get too close to the right edge, when it will bookmark the page. This means I can’t change chapter or switch to a different book.

I’ve tried completely closing the app. I also tried signing out of the App Store and signing back in, like I saw in a previous thread about a similar problem, but it hasn’t helped.

Kindle App on Ipad fails to load 1, but only 1 book My kindle app fails to load one book (only). It displays the book cover, but never moves past the cover to display the text. Other books load fine and I can read them. That one "bad" book loads fine on the Kindle app on my iPhone and I can read it.

Apple Books app Hello, I’ve noticed that Books app is changed, changed for the worse. app control became small and many functions like page turning is gone. I don't understand the craze of making the controls appear and disappear, as if one had to guess where they are and always remember where they are. all to make a beautiful but not very functional product.why? Please study a fine app for the books…please.

Try tapping in the middle of the screen.
