I have a trouble for my apple watch Series 1

My apple watch series 1 not pairing with my iPhone 7, when i pair the watch to my phone it’s asked to update checking but after few minutes it’s says unable to check for update and check your Internet connection

Apple Watch Series 1, watchOS 6

It's too old to pair with iOS 14.
