Restoring iMessage Convo on iPhone

I accidentally deleted an iMessage conversation on my iPhone. It still appears in iMessage on my laptop, and I'm wondering if I'm able to restore it back on my phone.

If you were using this Keep all your messages in iCloud - Apple Support the message isn't retrievable.

If you were backing up to icloud or itunes then you need to do this Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support
