Iphone won’t type ‘ya’

Since upgrading to iOS14 my iPhone will not allow me to type ‘ya’ without having to cancel the autocorrect to y’a. Even when the option to autocorrect comes up the odd time; if I select it, it doesn’t change it remains y’a. I’ve also added a text replacement and it doesn’t work. Has anyone else been experiencing this or know what to try next?

TIA

iPhone 11, iOS 14

I had this same issue and found this thread for help. The guy that replied is correct. I’d assume you checked your keyboard to see if it had French enabled, I did the same and there was no French keyboard. But try and go to “General” then “Language and Region”. Under iPhone languages I bet you it says French and English. Then just remove French and go down to “Reset” and “Reset Keyboard Dictionary”. I did all this and I fixed the problem cause it was driving me crazy ya know?
