Thunderbolt to USB

I have a late 2013 iMac it has 2 thunderbolt ports, I think they are thunderbolt1, can I buy a cable or multi port to connect either lightning or 'normal' USB, if so, Where?

A USB hub will be a much, much cheaper solution than

any thing Thunderbolt.

As a matter of fact I just purchased one of these:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00SIQIV04/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Depending on your iDevices, it also has two high power

charging ports.

Thank You for your reply it was helpful.  I realise there are 4 USB ports, I use one for my time machine, and one for my printer, once a week I connect our two iPads and two iPhones for back up and updates, I just thought as there were 2 unused thunderbolt ports it seemed logical to use them.  Thanks again, Steve
