I have an iPhone XS and this happened last month. All of the search results that I found indicates you need do the following:
- quick press the volume up button and release
- quick press the volume down button and release
- immediately hold down the start button and continue holding down until you see the apple logo start up.
- continue holding start button until phone restarts.
if this doesn’t work, which it did not work for me, you may need to do a complete restore of the device.
note: this will erase everything😡
Ultimately I ended up purchasing a program called reiboot by Tenorshare and this worked for me.
