When I open the camera (despite toggling about every setting possible in Settings) the camera defaults to a 2.0 zoom. I can manually zoom out to 1.0 but am not allowed access to the .5 Zoom. Pretty frustrating for a $1000 phone that I bought strictly for the advanced camera.
Please assist ASAP.

To not preserve settings on the camera, make sure it's not selected in Settings > Camera > Preserve Settings for it to be set as the default.

iPhone 12 Pro - Camera Zoom Defaults to 2.0, Can't access .5 Zoom either.
