Safari memory leak in Big Sur on MacBook Pro 16

does anyone have safari 14.0 that uses 1+GB of RAM??

I have a 16 inch macbook pro I9 32GB RAM 5500M 8GB GPU

Gmail tab takes 1.5 GB of ram!!!!

I cleaned the caches plenty of times

Please help!!

You have 32 GB of RAM in your machine. Were you going to rent out the excess?


Do not obsess over used/unused RAM.


"Unused RAM is Wasted RAM" is the new mantra for MacOS since 10.9 Mavericks.


View memory usage in Activity Monitor on Mac - Apple Support


If the Memory pressure graph does not look like THIS, you are fine:
