Big Sur problems

Since installing big sur my iMac sometimes restarts itself and also every time I start up my computer it tells me that it had shout down due to a fault and asks if I want a report. I did not have any of these problems before installing big sur.

It restarted more than three times a day with error message "your computer was restarted because of a problem". Why did my iMac restart long after an auto update Last PM an auto update to Big Sur occurred. Computer fine this morning. After I had been working a while (perhaps 15 minutes) the computer restarted while I was working. It gave the 1 minute warning but no option to delay. Why? Geoff
