I have just purchased an Ipad Air 4th generation, which USB cable should I purchase to connect it to my laptop. I purchased a USB-C to USB and it doesn't fit:( I am not a very techy person, actually I am not even sure if I need a USB cable at all? Am assuming if I need to move documents/photos from PC to Ipad, it will be handy. Thanks

If your laptop has USB-A (standard) ports, you need an USB-C (your iPad port) to USB-A adapter AND an USB-A to USB-A cable. Thanks for your reply Giulio. I think what I have purchased is the adapter (as it looks exactly like the pic in the link you sent) so it seems as though I need to purchase the USB A to USB A cable part?
Can I just confirm that the cable is not an Apple product, as I couldn’t find one online at their store. So I can just buy any make of cable?
