How do I scan documents with iOS 14.2?

I have an iPhone Xs and just recently updated to iOS 14.2 and I can’t scan documents through the notes app anymore. How can I scan documents using my iPhone? This is crucial to my job and I am extremely disappointed that Apple has removed this and now I am forced to use 3rd party apps to scan any such documents and risk any information on such to be leaked out to the world. Does Apple not care about people’s privacy anymore?

You can scan documents only if you create Notes under iCloud folder or "On My Phone" folder.
