Can books created on iPad pages be printed?

Can books created on Pages be published on Amazon or other sites besides Apple Books?

Can they be printed on demand, or at all?

Yes. For Amazon, you should consult their forums about how to convert the formats produced by pages to the one required for their store. For printing, it's the same, you need to consult one of the print on demand companies (Apple doesn't do printing) about what format they prefer and then export to that from pages.
