iphoto is not supported in the Mac version above. It tells me to update iphoto but it does not respondd

No version of iPhoto will run in Catalina or newer; it depends on a 32-bit library. Launch Photos with the Option key held down, click on Other Library, and choose the iPhoto one; alternatively, switch to a non-Apple product.
