I bought a Series 6 Apple Watch when they first came out, but I am only being offered a 1-month free trial of Fitness+. I understand that it’s supposed to give you the option if the new Apple Watch is linked to my Apple account, which it is. However, I’m still only offered a 1-month trial. Any ideas?

I arranged a call back from support this morning... (from the UK)... I then spoke with three different people and it took an hour, where I uploaded my proof of purchase for the watch, and eventually got a code to redeem. It would be helpful if this info was on the Apple website, or if it was easier to do without having to spend an hour on the phone with 3 different advisors (all of them were good, but it could have been better). I now have 3 + 1 month free trial then I will go onto £9.99 per month unless I cancel it or change it to the annual subscription.

I called them back this morning and it took an additional 20 minutes to get it sorted. Just like you, I needed to send them proof of purchase (though surely that’s already on my account?). Long story short, I receive an additional 3 months on top of freebie as well. Now I suppose I should do some exercise!
I had same issue with my three week old watch do you have the apple support app if you go on there ad start a chat with them need to be patient as busy they sorted it out for me now up and running with the free offer were really helpful
if you use the apple support app they can sort it out too it does take time they have to get someone further up chain of command but yes got three plus one month too and tied it out I like it

I would check again. I randomly checked once more to see if the 3 months were there and it had been changed. So maybe Apple have fixed the issue?
I called them too, but they cut me off whilst transferring me to a third person after I'd spent 30 minutes on the phone as they tried to figure it out. I was hoping it would have fixed itself by this morning so that I wouldn't have to call them back. It hasn't.
Same thing happened to me too. First person to answer didn't know what to do - so I was transferred to someone else. Instead got a message that the office was closed and a hangup. Apple is making this weirdly hard.
Supposedly a lot of Canadians (me being one of them) are having this problem. What's up, Apple?

I am in Canada and I am having the same problem.
Here in the UK too - so the error is possibly worldwide for those countries it has launched in. Pity as I was really keen to sign up and get involved. Hope they fix it soon.
I have the same problem in Canada, called support yesterday..they didn't know what to do..it's been already 24 hrs and didn't hear back from them..probably I should call again
If you don't see the 3 month trial, then Get Support
I Just resolved this issue. I called the Apple support and tell them about the situation, they then gave me a code to redeem on App Store to get your 3 months free trial.
