Home button not clicking

Had the battery replaced and now, the home button no longer clicks. It works but doesn’t have that click feeling. What happened?

Right Side button on my 12 Pro is not working This has been an ongoing issue for the last couple months it was doing it a while back and then all of a sudden it started working again and now it is unresponsive for the last week. The first time I took it to the Apple store I did it already started working at that point. Very frustrating! Feel like I’m getting the runaround when I call I need to have a lot of time to address this issue.

sounds like the people who repaired the screen broke the button, I would return it and have them fix it
