2018 iMac is completely dead, how can I get files off it

Hi, I have a iMac with under 3 years old that had been working great. Then out of the blue won’t start, no noises no lights completely dead. I’ve tried starting up in recovery but nothing happens just a dead lump of metal and glass. It’s booked in at apple but I desperately need my work files off it. Is there any way to do this without removing HD. I have another mac I can use if this might help

iMac 21.5″ 4K, macOS 10.13

You use your backup, either the Time Machine or bootable clone you have.

it sounds like a Le a power supply failure if it is hardware.

You're welcome. Without any power you can't even use Target Disk Mode. I assume you tried a different AC outlet.

Already done that one thanks, waiting for it get repaired. Just needed to pull the files off it before it went.

Yes tried that. Hopefully they will be able to fix a power supply failure with out loosing anything. Thanks for your help
