Did you download iCloud for Windows and using that to add the photos - Download iCloud for Windows - Apple Support?

Photos I took with Apple devices are accessible from my Apple devices. Icons of them show in the iCloud on my Lenova, Microsoft device. Photos from the Lenova have been placed in the iCloud (mine), but don’t appear in my photos app on my iPad Pro.
Your photos are available in the Photos app on your device. Is it not there? How did you manage to transfer the photos from the MS device to iCloud?
Yes. I downloaded iCloud on my Lenova. I had not downloaded iCloud photos app on my Lenova. Seems to be working now.
thanks
You're most welcome.
