My Mac book pro has developed a problem in which the screen starts to flicker and it gets worst progressively. It starts with a couple of glitches and flicker and its progresses to having two or more image of whatever on your screen flickering vertically and if I let it continue further the screen goes blank.

Others have told me this is related to my Mac heating up? How can I resolve this ?
Mine is not that extreme (yet..) but I have a different SUBTLE screen flicker issue when I'm watching YT. It's really annoying and I'm beginning to wonder if I got a lemon. ('19 16")
