Macbook Pro cracked bottom of screen

I would assume the crack somehow caused it but everything was working perfectly fine before, not even a tiny part of the screen was affected when I was using it. I don’t have apple care what do I do? I’m angry with apple and hope they will cover it and just give me a refund or a new one but

I’m doubting the quality of these laptops.

If you have AppleCare+ it will cover a large portion of accidental damage.
