iCloud

Currently I have a lot of photos in the Pictures folder sorted into sub folders. They are not in the Photos App. Can I put them into iCloud without them transferring into the Photos app and if so how please?

You had created folder and sub folders in pictures folder and have photos in folder and subfolder , if you open www.icloud.com and enter the account credentials , click on photos section and click on upload icon the photos will not be uploaded directly .
