cannot authorize song to play

I purchased an album a couple of months ago. Turns out one of the songs in the album does not play cause it is not 'authorized' to play in either the downloaded form on my phone or on my computer through iTunes. I am prompted to 'Authorize this computer'.

I am not asked to does this for any of the other songs in the album just the one. I input my information and it goes through and I get a screen that says this computer has been authorized to play this song, and now it is re-authorized to play this song. But I can't play the song.

So I am left confused and unable to play my song. If it says this computer is already authorized why am I not allowed to play the song?

As an FYI if I click on the song in question and it prompts me again to 'authorize my computer' which is the first step all over again.

Any help is appreciated.

Repeated requests to authorize an already authorized computer for store downloads typically indicates you have corrupt or incomplete copies. Delete the tracks that won't play from your library without hiding from your purchase history. Redownload using the cloud links that should remain, or close iTunes and reopen if they don't show up straight away. While downloading click the activity widget and turn off the option that allows for simultaneous downloads.
