I bought a used apple iPad for my kids virtual learning and it has an Activation Lock that I can’t access it. And the the seller I can’t reach.

If you can't reach the seller or the original owner of this device, then this iPad is a dead, useless device to you.

There is no way to defeat user Activation lock.

If it is possible, attempt to return the device and get your money back.

Failing that, please recycle this device responsibly.

You will never get this iPad to work for you without the seller/original owner's help.
