I have a MacBook Air m1 with 8gb ram. I was about to buy a 4k 27inch monitor and I was wondering if using the mac air as the device would be too much of a heavy task (displaying 4K) for the gpu/mac book air. Could it slow the computer down ? Should I go for a 1440p?

My wife's new Dell U2720QM Ultrasharp 27" 4K IPS LED, USB-C Monitor works perfectly with her new Macbook Air M1. The monitor is beautiful - sharp, clear, bold colors. It is connected using the USB-C to USB-C cable that came with the monitor.
Apple states you should be able to run that display (up to 6K).
