My sim card is not working

Okay, so your Ortel SIM is not working.

There can be various reasons for that.

Some more information will be required.

What are the errors or diagnostic messages shown, if any?

What have you tried, and what happened when you tried it?

Ensure you have cellular coverage.

Remove and re-insert the SIM, if that’s not already been tried.

Ensure your iPhone is running current software, if not already current.

Reboot your iPhone, and try again.

If your iPhone is carrier-locked, you can only use a SIM from the carrier holding the lock, or request the carrier unlock it. If Ortel is not the carrier holding the SIM lock on a carrier-locked iPhone, an Ortel SIM will not work.

Failing all that, check with your carrier for assistance, such as a different SIM to try.

You can only use a sim card from your carrier.
