My AOL email has stopped updating

My AOL email address is my primary email on my phone. It stopped updating and I get a message that says “Cannot Get Mail no password entered for “AOL”. Please go to Mail Account Settings and enter a password.”

I re-entered my password for both the incoming and outgoing Mail server, but I keep getting the same message when I go into the email app.

I have made sure that my email password is correct through the aol website. Also, the incoming server host name is imap.aol.com and the outgoing is smtp.aol.com

Any suggestion is appreciated.

Best would be to delete the AOL account from iOS mail app and add again. It is a matter of 2-3 mins only.
