Upgrade iPhone XR for 5G?

T-Mobile advertises that they can swap SIM cards to make phones 5G compatible. Is that possible for an iPhone XR? Thanks.

Thank you. I had a feeling, but web searches weren’t coming up with anything specific about it. Glad to know that I should not waste my time. It’s likely a ploy to get people in to sell them on a newer phone. :/

A SIM card can not make a non 5G device magically into a 5G device.
