Hi I’m looking into selling my broken iPhone 8 however the screen no longer works so I cannot factory reset my phone. Is erasing the phone via iCloud sufficient enough to keep my data safe? Should I just keep the phone? Thank you!

Yes, erasing it from iCloud will work if the phone is still in working condition other than the screen and can connect to the internet.
