Do others find that Photos in iPadOS 14.4 on the iPad Mini 5th generation crashes when the sidebar icon is selected ? PHOTOS opens only in portrait mode but when you turn it sideways the icon to toggle the sidebar appears. However the app closes if you click it. So I can no longer use the sidebar to access my albums! That worked in 14.3 I remember. Could find nowhere to register this bug with Apple...
Try a hard reset of your iPad by holding down both the Home and sleep/wake buttons simultaneously until your iPad goes to black and restarts with Apple logo, then release the buttons.

This is not a bug as you are the only one who has reported this, so far.
All of my iPads are on iPadOS 14.4 and none of mine are having this issue.
What is the rated, internal data storage space/capacity of your iPad model and how much of this free, internal data storage capacity is left inside of your iPad model?
I appreciate your suggestion but a Hard restart did not help.
This is clearly a new bug... how do I submit a bug report for iPadOS14.4?
